At Willson House Child Development Center these events are a way for us to be intentional about the relationships being built within our center. These once-a-month events serve three purposes:
- Engage: Throughout the week it is so hard for families to find time to interact with each other. The nighttime routine is typically filled with dinner, bath, and bedtime, leaving little time for face-to-face connection. We want to create a family-oriented environment where families are able to engage with one another once a month.
- Connect: Family Involvement Activities give parents a chance to connect with members of our teaching team to create a strong relationship between school and home.
- Network: These events are a great way for families to meet other families in the same stage of life as they are. They are a way for families to network with each other to create a strong support system for themselves and their children.
